Marriage-A

WTLB-Home and Family-02A

May 13, 2012 • Keith Mosher, Sr.

While marriage has become devalued and redefined in our society today, we will see that it is still an important part of God's plan and throughout this series we will see that problems arise when we stray from His plan and start doing things man's way. This study will ask some questions about marriage. Is marriage really a lifelong commitment like we hear repeated in marriage vows, till death do us part? What does the Bible say about divorce? When is it time to leave our father and mother and marry? What does it mean to cleave and how does a man and woman cleave to each other? Study with us as we go to the Bible to get God's answers to these questions about marriage.

In the Beginning

May 6, 2012 • Gary Colley

In examining the home and family we see that society would give us different answers to what is a home or what makes up a family. Therefore it is important for us to go back to the beginning and see what the home and family were intended to be, who designed it, and what was its purpose. Mr. Gary Colley will go to the Bible to study with us to find out what it was like in the beginning.

Marriage-B

May 20, 2012 • Keith Mosher, Sr.

Mr. Keith Mosher discussed in the first part of this lesson commitment in marriage, in contrast to many who would treat the marriage as a disposable item to throw away when desired. God's plan is for one man and one woman to remain together in marriage until death separates them. In this study, he discusses the chronology of marriage. Who is to be married and when is a good time in our lives for a man and woman to be married? Is there a time when two people should not be married? Lastly, he will discuss cleaving in marriage, what this means and what it takes for two people to cleave to each other. Open your Bibles and join us as we take a deeper look at marriage as God would have it.
